/ Private beta · Desktop app for stock video contributors

Drop your footage in a folder. RushPilot handles the rest.

RushPilot looks at a few frames of each clip, writes the title, description and keywords every agency expects, checks for the usual rejection reasons and uploads to Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and Pond5.

/ What RushPilot actually does

RushPilot is a desktop app for people who sell stock footage. It reads your clips, writes what every agency asks for and catches what reviewers reject.

Titles, descriptions, keywords, categories, upload forms. For every clip and every agency, without retyping anything. So you can spend your time where it counts: shooting.

Your video files never leave your computer. RushPilot analyses about five still frames per clip, and uploads go straight from your disk to the agencies you choose.

/ The app

One clip in. Two uploads ready.

RushPilot looks at five frames, writes the title and keywords, checks what reviewers reject, and waits for your approval before anything is sent.

/ The problem

Describing a 12-second clip takes longer than shooting it.

Selling footage is mostly paperwork. Every clip needs its own title, description and keyword list, typed again for every agency, and one detail in the frame can send it back.

  1. 1

Up to 50 keywords per video

Shutterstock takes 50, Adobe Stock 49. Buyers search by subject, place, mood and camera move, so each slot counts.

  2. 2

A different form for every agency

Title lengths, categories and required fields change from one site to the next. The same clip gets described three times.

  3. 3

Rejected for a logo in the corner

A shop sign, a car badge, a printed T-shirt. Reviewers reject the clip and you find out days later.

/ How it works

Up and running in 3 steps.

Nothing is sent to an agency until you approve it.

  1. Step 1: Drop your clips in a folder

Point RushPilot at a folder. New clips are picked up as soon as they're copied in, straight from the card or the drive.

  2. Step 2: RushPilot prepares and checks

For each clip: five keyframes, a title, a description, up to 50 keywords, a category, and a check against common rejection reasons.

  3. Step 3: Review, approve, send

Edit anything you want, approve the batch, and RushPilot uploads to each agency with the right fields filled in.

/ Features

Built for people who sell footage.

RushPilot does the repetitive part of stock contributing and leaves the decisions to you.

Keywords written for video

Buyers search by camera move and technique as much as by subject. RushPilot tags dolly, pan, aerial, slow motion, time-lapse and hyperlapse, along with what's in the frame.

Rejection checks before upload

Resolution, duration, frame rate, visible logos and trademarks, recognizable people without a release. You fix problems before a reviewer sees them.

One batch, several agencies

Each agency gets its own title length, keyword limit and category. You review once and RushPilot fills in every form.

Your files stay on your computer

Only a handful of still frames per clip are analysed. The video file itself goes from your disk to the agency and nowhere else.

Ideas for what to shoot next

Suggestions based on what buyers look for and what's missing from your own portfolio, so your next shoot isn't a guess.

From €0.05 a clip, no storage fees

Buy a pack of credits or take a monthly plan, whichever fits how much you shoot. Nothing is hosted on our side, so you never pay to store footage.

01

When can I use RushPilot?

RushPilot is in development. A private beta is running with a small group of contributors. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the download link when the beta opens to more people.

02

Which agencies are supported?

Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and Pond5 at launch. Getty Images and iStock are next. Tell us which agencies you use when you join the waitlist: it decides what we add after that.

03

How much will it cost?

From €0.05 to €0.09 per clip. Packs start at €9 for 100 clips and monthly plans at €7 for 100 clips a month, and your first 25 clips are free. A clip costs the same whatever its length, for all three agencies. You'll be able to buy at launch.

04

Do my video files leave my computer?

Only to go to the agencies you choose. To write the metadata, RushPilot sends a few still frames from each clip (usually five) for analysis. The video file is never uploaded to RushPilot.

05

Does it work with photos?

Not yet. RushPilot is built for video first: camera moves, slow motion, time-lapse. Photo support is planned for a later version.

06

Can I upload videos I didn't shoot?

No. RushPilot is for your own footage only. Agencies require you to hold the rights to everything you submit, and so do we.

07

Is RushPilot affiliated with Shutterstock or Adobe?

No. RushPilot is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Shutterstock, Adobe, Pond5, Getty Images or any other stock agency.
